Arizona Eco Development LLC is an Arizona-based real estate holding company which also purchases non-performing loans (NPLs). The company has a long-term outlook, operates on 100% equity finance, and in making disposals and / or zoning applications follows a philosophy which is both ecologically sensitive and pro-parkland / pro-open space in residential and commercial development.
Currently, Arizona Eco Development (AED) has one major holding: a deed of trust on approximately 15,000 acres of ranch and dells (with the land being collateral on the note which AED owns) located in Prescott and in areas of Yavapai county that lie within likely annexation paths of Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. The note has a principal value of $83.2 million with another $45+ million of unpaid, accrued interest and penalties, and has been in non-performance for almost four years. (For purpose of clarity, AED does not at the current time own the land, it simply has a lien on the 15,000 acres.)
